Last month, when I found out that some of my favorite artists had gathered for a tour and would play at a festival in the city of São Luís do Maranhão in northeast of Brazil and other Latin American capitals, I decided to see them in Buenos Aires , Argentina . This would be a good opportunity to visit Argentina , a country I’ve always liked and to see a good show.
In my decision I considered two factors: 1) Buenos Aires is closer to Rio de Janeiro than São Luís do Maranhão, and therefore, travel costs end up being smaller. 2) Their concert in São Luís would be at a festival, and possibly would be shorter.
Well, I never felt so happy with a decision in my life! Unfortunately, due to serious problems with the event organizers in Maranhão, the festival was canceled and if I had gone over there, beyond the considerable expenses of traveling, I would have lost one memorable show.
It was absolutely wonderful to see at the same stage: Gene Simmons, Joe Elliot, Sebastian Bach, Glenn Hughes, Duff McKagan, Billy Duff, Steve Stevens, Matt Sorum, Gilby Clark, Mike Inez and Ed Roland. It was great to hear some all time classics interpreted by some of my biggest idols, like Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta (Sebastian Bach), Deep Purple’s Highway Star and Burn (Glenn Hughes), Guns’n’Roses’ Welcome to the jungle (Sebastian Bach) and Kiss’ I love it loud (with Gene himself), among others.
Again, another great night thanks to Rock'n'Roll.

curto.
O fato é que nunca me senti
Lamentavelmente, devido a problemas
no mínimo memorável.
Foi absolutamente maravilhoso
ver no mesmo palco: Gene Simmons, Joe Elliot, Sebastian Bach, Glenn Hughes,
Duff McKagan, Billy Duff, Steve Stevens, Matt Sorum, Gilby Clark, Mike Inez e
do Led Zeppelin (Sebastian Bach), Highway Star e Burn do Deep Purple (Glenn
Hughes), Welcome to the jungle do Guns (Sebastian Bach) ou I love it loud do
Kiss (com o próprio Gene), dentre outras.
Mais uma vez, outra grande
noite graças ao Rock’n’Roll.
